Defragmentation
You can optimize the search process by means of the index defragmentation: the indexing results are organized so that it allows you to speed up the next search process. To perform defragmentation, you should copy idefrag.exe file, located in the indexer directory, to a folder containing index files (index.cns, docs.cns, and files.cns) and then launch it. After this process is over, docs.cns will be replaced by results.cns.
Note: The defragged index files cannot be edited.
