Installing CNCat into WordPress
To install links and articles web directory script CNCat into the content management system WordPress:
- Download CNCat edition for WordPress from the official website http://www.cn-software.com/en/cncat/download/ ;
- Extract the installation files from the archive and copy them into the WordPress root directory;
- In the Browser, open cncat folder in the WordPress directory, for example, http://yoursite.com/wordpress/cncat/ . The page with the CNCat installation launch on will be displayed;
- Run the Installation Wizard. Then follow the installation steps described in Initial Installation paragraph;
- At the final step of the web directory installation, the dialog with the further instructions on adding CNCat to WordPress will be displayed:
Installation Completion
- Delete the /install/ folder and go to the web directory page;
- On the WordPress administration panel, select the Links - Add New menu item;

- Fill in necessary fields and click the Add Link button. As a result, the link pointing to the web directory will be displayed in the list of WordPress links;
- Then, on the Plugins page, activate CNCat plugin. To do this, select the Activate link next to the plugin name;

As a result, the CNCat plugin will move to the list of activated plugins and CNCat widgets will get available;
- Select Appearance - Widgets menu item and add CNCat widgets to the sidebar of the widgets in use:
