Checking Links
To set up parameters for checking links, go to the Settings – Links Checking page:

Links checking parameters (part of the parameters can be modified before links checking in Processing section):
- Checking method – select method Sockets. If your server does not support sockets, then it will automatically enable the second check method file_get_contents;
- Check Google PR/Yandex CY – check the link rating in search systems Google and Yandex;
- Obtain favicon – import the link icon from the site;
- Check robots.txt file - consider the robots.txt file during the check. More information about robots.txt, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robots.txt . If the robots.txt file of the web site under check does not allow one of the listed robots to index the page with the backward link, then it will be assumed that there is no backward link.
Click the Save button to apply and save your settings.
